Anteater

The anteater is a solitary mammal that mainly feeds on ants and termites. It can be found in Central and South America, in grasslands, swampy areas and rainforests. The anteater has a tubular snout and a very long, thin tongue. Anteaters can flick their tongues 150 times a minute. The biggest anteater is the giant anteater. It weighs up to 140 pounds (65 kg). The smallest anteater is the silky anteater, also called the dwarf anteater. It has the size of a squirrel.
