Badger Information

The bagder is a member of the weasel family. It has short legs, short bushy tail and a short thick neck. The badger has a distinctive white stripe from the nose to the top of the head. Badgers can be found in the prairies and open plains. They reach 35 inches in length and weigh up to 30 lbs. Males are larger than females. Badgers are ferocious animals, and will fight against much bigger predators. The honey badger for example, is among the fiercest hunters of the desert.
