Eagles are carnivores. They and hunt and scavenge during the day. Eagles hunt from the air and fly close to ground to surprise prey. Eagles eat fish, monkeys, reptiles, rodents and dead animals. They kill prey with their feet and claws, and use their beaks for tearing flesh. Eagles usually mate for life.
