Goat Behavior

Goats are social animals and most of them live in herds. They are herbivores and eat grass, herbs, leaves, and shrubs. Goats are ruminants. They swallow their food without chewing too much and later they regurgitate it and chew it again. These animals are also very curious and intelligent, they will explore anything new around them. Domestic goats are easily herded.
