Goldfish Behavior

Goldfish are social and usually tend to live in groups. They are typically nonaggressive fish. Goldfish should never be kept in small bowls, because they need space and oxygen. Also, having two goldfish is better than one. Remember and follow this rule: one goldfish per 10-20 gallons of water. Goldfish like to play and are very intelligent creatures. Studies have shown that goldfish memories can last as long as three months. In the wild goldfish eat crustaceans, insects, and plants.
