Iguana Information

The iguana is a lizard native to tropical areas of Central and South America and Caribbean Islands.

Iguanas have a long tail, eyelids, and four sprawling legs. They vary in color from yellow to green to brown, depending on the species. Iguanas are the most popular and the largest of the lizard family. Several iguana species are listed as endangered because they face threats like loss of habitat or environmental changes.
