Opossum Behavior


The opossum is a solitary and primarily nocturnal animal. This animal is omnivorous. It eats snails, insects, snakes, rats, carrion and fruits. Opossums have poor eyesight, but very good senses of hearing and smell. They are nomadic and opportunistic animals.
