Sea Otter Information

Sea otters (Enhydra lutris) are marine mammals that live along North Pacific Ocean coasts. The sea otter is the largest member of the Mustelidae, or weasel family. These animals have webbed hind feet, which they use to swim. Sea otters have very thick fur, which offers them protection from the cold. They have no blubber. Sea otters are up to 4 feet long and can weigh up to 99 pounds. The sea otter is capable of living exclusively in the ocean.
