Sea Otter Behavior

Sea otters are social animals. Females and males mostly stay in separate groups. These groups are called rafts. Otters usually swim on their backs. These marine mammals are carnivores. They must dive to capture their food and eat crustaceans, octopuses, sea urchins, squid, and fish. Their main predators include sharks and killer whales.
