White-Tailed Deer Behavior

White-tailed deer are most active at dawn and dusk. These animals have good eyesight and acute hearing. White-tailed deer eat leaves, grass, twigs, acorns, hay, corn, apples, buds, pine, cedar. They are ruminants. White-tailed deer communicate via sounds, scents, or body language. They use tail flicking, tail waving, or ear movement for example.
